Christian Apologetics

Christian apologetics is the practice of giving thoughtful reasons for the Christian faith and responding to questions, objections, and challenges to Christianity.

These resources explore questions about the existence of God, the reliability of Scripture, the resurrection, Jesus, science and faith, morality, philosophy, skepticism, other religions, and common objections to Christianity.

Some of these resources come from particular theological, philosophical, or denominational perspectives. I have included perspective notes where helpful so you can better understand the resource you are using.

As always, use discernment, examine what you learn carefully, and take everything back to Scripture.

A Note About Apologetics

Apologetics can be a valuable way to explore questions about Christianity and learn how Christians have responded to objections to the faith.

At the same time, our faith is not ultimately based on our ability to win an argument.

Arguments, evidence, philosophy, science, history, and apologetic resources can help us think carefully about what we believe and how we communicate it, but they should never become a replacement for Scripture or for knowing Christ.

The resources on this page also come from different approaches and perspectives. Some emphasize investigative evidence, some philosophy, some science, and some dialogue with skeptics.

Use discernment, examine the arguments carefully, and always take what you learn back to Scripture.
